Dr. Vickaryous is an Orthopedic Surgery Specialist, and has been practicing in a busy trauma and sports medicine clinic in Orlando for the last 13 years.
Dr. Brian Vickaryous has been a team physician for several local high school teams, as well as the Orlando Solar Bears Hockey team. Dr. Vickaryous has more experience with shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and lower limb surgery than other specialists in his area, pioneering many of the techniques that get patients back in the game sooner.

What is Osteoporosis? The term osteoporosis literally means porous bone.
Osteoporosis is a disease of progressive bone loss associated with an increased risk of fractures. The disease often develops unnoticed over many years, with no symptoms or discomfort until a fracture occurs. Why should You be Concerned? Often causes a loss of height and a severely rounded upper back. It is a major health problem, affecting more than 44 Million Americans and contributing to an estimated 2 Million bone fractures per year. This number of fractures may rise to over 3 million by the year 2025.

Excellent, caring surgeon. In my case, inserted a plate to repair a broken ulna sustained in a sports accident. Repair was to my dominant arm and it had good functionality after 2 weeks, healed in 6-8 weeks, and returned to fully normal function within about 6 months. His background in PT really helped accelerate my ROM recovery in follow-up appointments.

We were so lucky to find “The BEST” surgeon in Central Florida to do hip replacement surgeries. The pandemic pushed my husband’s surgery back a year and he ended up in a wheelchair unable to walk. Dr. Hudanich said these were the worst hips he’d ever seen. He did BOTH hips 3 months apart; the last one the end of July 2021. On my husband’s birthday (Nov 4th), he danced the whole night practically non-stop with no problems!
